Boarding Kennel Review
Are you like
me? When I go away on vacation, I
worry about leaving my dog, Ute, behind. I
can't help it. I convince myself
that I can't possibly have fun without her.
However, sometimes dogs simply are not allowed on vacation.
I have often asked myself, "Who can I trust to take care of her?
Will she be well cared for? Safe?
What activities are available for her?
If I leave her with a neighbor, how can I be assured that they (or their
kids!) will not let her go zooming out the front door at the first opportunity?
Can I trust that they will watch her to be sure she won't get into
anything that could harm her?"
When I leave Ute at Shiloh Road Kennels, I have peace of mind that my dog
is being treated with utmost care. The
kennels are clean and the dogs well attended to.
The dogs are kept in air conditioning in the summertime and have heat in
the winter. I have personally
observed Joan Jung watch and care for the dogs in the kennel.
She checks the weather closely to see if she should keep the dogs inside
or let them have full use of the runs on that particular day.
If it's too hot or too cold, they will be kept inside.
If your dog has particular needs, those needs will be attended to.
They can have their own bedding and toys, if the owner wishes.
Dogs can be walked daily for an extra charge.
Since Ute uses the Hydrotherapy Pool, she is able to swim when I leave
her at the kennel!
I have also noticed that Joan Jung often treats the boarded dogs as if
they were her own. They are well
taken care of. Ute comes back home
clean and well groomed. I would
highly recommend Shiloh Road Kennels to anyone who truly cares about their dog,
and I have no qualms about leaving her at such a quality kennel.
Would I prefer leaving her with the neighbor?
Absolutely not.
